Cornerstone provides one of the fastest check verification systems on the market today. This real-time system, which is provided at no cost to all of our credit card clients, allows both same day account placement and removal. Verify checks by bank account number, driver’s license, or social security number. Cornerstone maintains two complete, independently networked systems to ensure no downtime in the event of a hardware/software failure.

How does the system work? Check verification operates by comparing the numbers entered into a terminal to the database held by our agency. If the information input into the terminal matches information within our database, the check is denied at the point of sale. Because Cornerstone has a significant portion of the Alaskan check market, our clients benefit by verifying the checks written to them against this database, helping to prevent the acceptance of bad checks.
